Personal Background

I have been married to my husband Tim for 12.5 years, and I am a blessed mom to two little girls (ages 11 and 9). I went to college at Malone University in Canton, OH and played Division II basketball there! I am a kids basketball coach in our community (Wadsworth) and an active member of our church!

Career Background

Previously, I worked in the biopharmaceutical industry. It was very interesting work! I’ve also been a product development chemist for 1K and 2K polyurethane spray foam products, and solvent based paints and coatings. R&D is so fun! I have been a bench formulator and worked up into management, and have now managed people for 12 years. People are my favorite part of my job!

Current Job Responsibilities

I manage all aspects of research & development activities for SOPREMA in the U.S., which brings a very diverse group that I interact with regularly, including our four full-time employees and a year-round intern program. Of course I work with all R&D collaborators within the SOPREMA Group in the U.S. and globally. But I also work closely with several other departments, including manufacturing, engineering, product management, marketing, and procurement (as I manage our Raw Material Qualification Program). I previously managed the U.S. quality team, and still work closely with them too!
