Regional Sales Manager
I’ve lived in Texas all my life, and started my career working in a lumber yard part time in high school. I am in my second marriage, we have four children, eight grandchildren and three great grandkids. I still have a home in Texas, north of Houston.
Because of my position I have to live in further, so my wife and I live in a motorhome. We spend the winters in Mesa, AZ. In the summer, we try to find a place where it’s cooler – we have spent summers in Colorado, Washington, California, Utah and central Arizona at a higher elevation. I am a Christian and have been involved in teaching at my church for much of my life.
I have been in the building materials industry since 1980, including several management and sales positions. Much of my career has been on the distribution side, but for the last 14 years, I have been on the manufacturer side in sales. Five years ago, I was promoted to a Regional Manager position with Resisto.
Current Job Responsibilities
In my current position as a Regional Manager it’s my responsibilty is to grow my region in sales, grow our customer count, and build sales outside or our traditional products. It is also my job to help my team grow both personally and professionally. Part of my job is also to lead my team with the corporate directives.
