SOPRAROCK® DD

SOPRAROCK® DD

SOPRAROCK DD (dual density) is a rigid mineral fiber insulation for use in approved multi-ply membrane. SOPRAROCK DD is composed of basalt rock and slag, that when combined, results in insulation with an extremely high melting point. SOPRAROCK DD is water repellent yet vapor permeable and has a higher density top surface.

Installation

Prior to installation, ensure all SOPRAROCK DD PLUS panels have not been subject to moisture. Place boards in desired position. Butt edges and stagger joints of adjacent
boards. Secure boards to substrate using mechanical fasteners or hot asphalt. SOPRAROCK DD PLUS can also be loose laid when gang fastened with an overlying cover board. For approvals and listings to meet project-specific wind rating requirements, contact SOPREMA.
