SBS POLY SANDED is a 2.2 mm (86.6 mil) SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) modified
bitumen roofing membrane. SOPREMA’s exclusive SBS polymer and asphalt formulation
yields exceptional elongation and recovery properties for long-term durability. It is
reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat that provides added strength and puncture
resistance to the membrane.

Installation
The substrate should be clean, stable, dry, free of any loose materials, grease, and other
contaminants, which may compromise the product’s performance. Install the membrane via cold adhesive or hot asphalt following the manufacturer’s guidelines. Do not install the membrane directly to softwood boards or flexible polyvinyl chloride. Before installing the membrane, cover the surface with a suitable panel or an underlayment membrane.
