The Indiana War Memorial has had leak issues since its construction in 1924. The leak issues were addressed by using SOPREMA’s ALSAN® TRAFIK HP and SOPRALENE® Flam 180 & 250 membranes. The Memorial is no longer leaking. In fact, this is the first time since the Memorial was constructed that no leaks are present. The Indiana War Memorial is a historical building with large limestone features that could not be changed. ALSAN® TRAFIK HP solved the leaks in the built-in gutter system and resolved the joint problems with no change to the historic value of the building.
The Indiana War Memorial was designated a National Historic Landmark District.
