Florida Building Code (FBC)
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (FDBPR) publishes Florida Building Code compliance evaluation reports, prepared by Florida Registered Professional Engineers under the governance of Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.) Rule 61G20-3, resulting in Florida Product Approval through the Florida Building Code Information System (BCIS). By rule, quality assurance surveillance is completed by a third party, FBC Listed Quality Assurance Entity. At a minimum, these evaluation reports are subject to re-evaluation with each code cycle (every three years).
These reports demonstrate compliance with the Florida Building Code and are offered by SOPREMA to customers for their review and acceptance to demonstrate compliance with the IBC and other jurisdictional codes that also require FM 4474 wind uplift resistance testing.
The public may view or download these reports from the FDBPR website at https://floridabuilding.org/pr/pr_app_srch.aspx. Login information is not required.
