COLPHENE® Stick SBS-modified bitumen, self-adhered base ply is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen in combination with a high-tack self-adhesive layer. It is reinforced with a tough, dimensionally stable non-woven polyester mat. COLPHENE is for use in approved multi-ply membrane roof waterproofing assemblies. A fine mineral aggregate on the topside facilitates self-adhered and cold-adhesive applications. The underside is surfaced with protective polyolefin release film that is removed during application.

Installation
Prior to installation, unroll COLPHENE Stick onto the roof surface and allow to relax. Place COLPHENE Stick in desired position. Remove the protective release film from the underside of the sheet and roll COLPHENE Stick into place with a weighted roller. Subsequent approved inter-ply or cap ply membranes are applied to COLPHENE Stick via self-adhered and cold adhesive applications. Woodridge Middle School – Peninsula, Ohio
With a tight schedule to meet, Woodridge Middle School was relying on SOPREMA’s SENTINEL products to do the job. The previous shingle and PVC roof was replaced with SOPRA-ISO, and tan SENTINEL P150 HFB. The gutters were then lined with ALSAN RS 222 primer and ALSAN RS 230 Flash.
Lancaster Material Distribution Center – Lancaster, Texas
In May 2017, the Lancaster Material Distribution Center needed a new roof. While the original SOPREMA asphalt system was in decent shape, it was nearly 25 years old and at the end of its life. Through value engineering, it was decided that the existing system would be left in place to save cost. SOPREMA products were selected to re-roof this project due to the proven durability of the existing roof. The system that was installed included ELASTOCOL® 500, COLVENT® Flam, ELASTOPHENE® Flam LS FR GR, SOPRALENE® Flam 180 and SOPRALENE Flam 180 FR GR.
