The Semi-Intensive Roof System is designed to increase stormwater management capabilities, and projects are typically 6”1-2” of media depth. This system allows for additional plant diversity including small herbs, grasses and some flowers. It also requires more maintenance and regular irrigation.

This warranty is available for roofs that are covered by SOPREMA’s Mammouth Platinum Warranty. The Mammouth Platinum Warranty covers the materials and labour of the waterproofing assembly, while the Mammouth SOPRANATURE Warranty covers the replacement of the SOPRANATURE vegetated system components provided by SOPREMA.
Under this warranty, if corrective action is required due to water infiltration covered by the Mammouth Platinum Warranty, SOPREMA will provide the owner with the materials and labour to remove and reinstall the SOPRANATURE vegetated system.
SOPRANATURE’s TOUNDRA BOX is a pre-vegetated modular tray system. It is composed of a box made of 100% recycled polypropylene and removable, recyclable white belts, containing a filter fabric and a growing medium in which a mix of sedum species is cultivated. The mix of sedums can be adapted according to the hardiness zone and climatic conditions. The TOUNDRA BOX system can be installed on SOPRANATURE green roofs, garden terraces, and plaza decks.

The Extensive Roof System is designed for lightweight vegetated roofing projects that are typically 3”-6” of media depth. There are a variety of vegetation options that include sedums, herbs and low maintenance plants. They do not typically require a full irrigation system.
The Semi-Intensive Roof System is designed to increase stormwater management capabilities, and projects are typically 6”1-2” of media depth. This system allows for additional plant diversity including small herbs, grasses and some flowers. It also requires more maintenance and regular irrigation.
The Intensive Roof System is designed for full roof landscape projects and is typically 12” or greater in media depth. This system requires frequent maintenance and an irrigation system. It adds usable amenity space to the building and is able to retain the most stormwater.
The Modular System is designed for smaller difficult to access projects that typically have 4”-6” of media depth. There are a variety of vegetation options that include sedums, herbs and low maintenance plants. This system does not typically require a full irrigation system.
