SOPRANATURE® MRM 5 SKU: 22804

SOPRANATURE MRM 5 is a moisture retention mat made from recycled polyester, designed to provide water and nutrient storage for green roof applications without restricting root growth or water drainage. SOPRANATURE MRM 5 is used in flat or sloped green roofing systems to retain a certain amount of water and channel excess to the water outlets.

Installation

Unroll SOPRANATURE MRM 5 directly onto the surface without overlapping the joints. Adjacent sheets should fit tight to avoid gaps. Excess can be trimmed down once the soil has been installed. As SOPRANATURE MRM 5 is installed, temporary ballasting may be required prior to the installation of subsequent materials.

Potomac Transportation Center – Dumfries, Virginia

To stay proactive, The Potomac Transportation Center, part of the Prince William County Public Schools, decided to apply a protective coating to their rooftop. Although there were no immediate problems with the current roof, it was determined that a preventative coating was needed on the aging roof before future complications arose.
