SOPRANATURE® Metal Edging

SOPRANATURE® Metal Edging

SOPRANATURE METAL EDGING is made of aluminum 5052-H32, 0.051 in (16 ga.), without surface treatment. It is “L” shaped, 8 pi (2.4 m) long but available in several dimensions in width and height. The METAL EDGE can be slotted or not, the slotted one is used to promote water flow due to its 0.25 in (6.3 mm) wide perforations spaced 1.5 po (38.1 mm) on-center.

The METAL EDGING is used to delimit vegetation-free zones from the vegetative ones. It is also used to create the necessary borders around drains, projections and chimney stacks that can be found on SOPRANATURE green roofs, garden-roofs and plaza-decks.

Installation

Install the METAL EDGING on the appropriate locations directly over drainage boards by overlapping the edges on 1 po (25 mm) and fix the upper part of the edge with a compatible metal screw.
