Fishers Island Club is located on Fishers Island, New York, a secluded location in the Long Island Sound. The club offers guests beautiful beaches, golfing and multiple tennis courts. Those who are avid golfers will enjoy an 18-hole golf course that has been around since 1926 and was designed by Seth Raynor, a well-known golf course architect. If golfing isn’t your idea of relaxation, the club offers beachfront lounging and multiple dining options at the main clubhouse.
When it was time to build a new building at the club, SOPREMA products were called into action. On this new building, our COLPHENE® 3000 product was chosen to waterproof the foundation because of its superior strength and adhesion. In addition to the COLPHENE 3000 layer, a SOPRADRAIN® Ecovent 2 drainage layer was installed to ensure proper drainage. To perform the installation process smoothly, Fernandes Masonry worked very closely with SOPREMA. Because of this, installation instructions were communicated effectively, resulting in a very tight and high quality final product.
