The Ohio Stadium, home to the Ohio Buckeyes, is one of the most well-known landmarks in college athletics. Built in the shape of a horseshoe, the stadium offers a seating capacity of 104,944. The seating design offers fans spectacular views throughout the stadium and a home-field advantage for the Buckeyes. It is the fourth largest on-campus facility in the nation and the fifth largest stadium in the world.
Starting in 1999, the stadium endured a three year update in which SOPRALENE® Flam 180 and SOPRALENE® Flam 180 FR GR were installed. Both SBS-modified bitumen membranes offer a tough, dimensionally stable non-woven polyester mat. The SOPRALENE® Flam 180 FR GR cap ply offered a fire retardant, ceramic coated granulated finish for this project.
