SOPRADRAIN TD is a 165-ft roll of 12 in wide by 1 in tall, high flow capacity, polypropylene drainage core, wrapped with a non-woven filter fabric used to collect and remove ground water away from building foundation walls. SOPRADRAIN TD, along with the SOPRADRAIN SIDE and END OUTLETS is a complete perimeter drainage system that is easy to install in even the largest conventional back-filled and blindside waterproofing applications.

SOPRADRAIN TD is also used as trench drainage in golf courses and athletic fields, landscaping, and around parking lots and road perimeters.

Installation

SOPRADRAIN TD is typically installed in conjunction with SOPRADRAIN 100 series drainage products such as SOPRADRAIN 100, 102, 102PF, 104 and 104PF.

Unroll and install SOPRADRAIN TD along the base of foundation walls or lagging using SOPRADRAIN TD SPLICES and SOPRADRAIN TD CORNERS to keep the system continuous, and attach to the wall or lagging with fasteners and washers. Use SOPRADRAIN TD SIDE and END OUTLETS where needed to transition to conventional 4 in drainpipes.

On concrete substrates, use mechanical fasteners such as nails or powder-actuated fasteners and washers. On waterproofing substrates, use construction adhesives that are compatible with the waterproofing membrane. The closed end of the dimples with filter fabric always faces the backfill/soil.

SOPRADRAIN TD is installed below SOPRADRAIN 100 series products to complete the drainage system. All panels are butted, and the filter fabric shingled. All factory edges and cut edges should be covered with filter fabric either by overlapping edge or covering with excess fabric.

Place backfill as soon as possible, extending at least 6 in over the top of drainage.
