SOPRALAP™ FLAM SKU: 04085

SOPRALAP™ Flam is an SBS-modified bitumen cover strip for use with SOPRASMART® Laminated Board products. SOPRALAP Flam is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen and is reinforced with tough, dimensionally stable composite polyester/glass fiber reinforcement. The topside and underside are surfaced with polyolefin burn-off film to optimize heat welding.

Installation

Prior to installation, unroll SOPRALAP Flam onto the roof surface and allow to relax. SOPRASMART boards are butted end to end, with a membrane overlap of 1 inch. Place SOPRALAP Flam in desired position, centered over the board joint, and back roll the product. SOPRALAP Flam is then heat welded to approved substrates. Refer to the SOPREMA® SBS Roofing Manual for additional application guidelines.
