SOPRALAP SANDED is an SBS-modified bitumen cover strip for use with SOPRASMART Laminated Board products. SOPRALAP SANDED is reinforced with a tough, dimensionally stable composite polyester/glass fiber reinforcement that is saturated and coated on both sides with a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen.

Installation
Prior to installation, unroll SOPRALAP SANDED onto the roof surface and allow to relax. SOPRASMART Laminated Board are butted end to end, with a membrane overlap of
1 inch. Place SOPRALAP SANDED in desired position, centered over the board joint, and back roll the product. Apply approved cold adhesive following manufacture’s guidelines. SOPRALAP SANDED is then rolled into the cold adhesive and subsequently rolled with a weighted roller.
