Installation
Apply SOPRASEAL LM 202 VP or SOPRASEAL LM 203 to all sheathing joints, terminations, inside and outside corners, and rough openings.
Immediately place and center SOPRASEAL MESH over wet SOPRASEAL LM 202 VP or SOPRASEAL LM 203, embedding and completely saturating SOPRASEAL MESH.
Ensure SOPRASEAL MESH extends evenly on both sides of the sheathing joint. Lap a minimum of 2 1/2” (64 mm) of SOPRASEAL MESH at intersections.
When product is applied with a roller, allow to dry to touch, before applying SOPRASEAL LM 202 VP or SOPRASEAL LM 203 to entire wall surface. When product is spray applied, “wet on wet” application is acceptable.

When selecting a product to re-roof the building after the storm, it was important to select a product that would be able to withstand the impact of future tropical storms and hurricanes. The system that was selected included a base ply of ELASTOPHENE® SP 3.0 with 350 PSI lightweight concrete applied on top and SOPRALENE® 180 PS 3.0 with a cap sheet of SOPRALENE Flam 180 FR GR.
