This one-component acrylic sealant is used to fill the unseen gaps and joints where the wall meets the floor or ceiling. The TECSOUND CLG 5900 sealant is the first step before the installation of the TECSOUND CLG 3900 noise-proofing compound. For interior use.
Installation
Clean and dry the surface of oil, dust and grease. Cut off the end of the TECSOUND CLG 5900 cartridge and screw the nozzle onto it. Cut the nozzle tip at a size of about 6 mm (1/4 in). Apply sealant using a regular large-size caulking gun (828 ml/28 oz.). Apply the sealant in the joints between the walls and the adjoining surfaces. Allow drying for 48 hours before applying drywall joint compound or paint.
