Mall of Georgia – Buford, GA
The expansive Mall of Georgia is the largest mall in Georgia and one of the largest in all of the United States, consisting of more than two hundred stores on three levels. The Mall of Georgia is located 30 miles NE of downtown Atlanta and is one of the top tourist attractions in the state. Approximately 17 million people visit the Mall of Georgia annually. The statue atop the roof of the mall is of Button Gwinnett, one of the first men to sign the United States Declaration of Independence and for whom the mall’s location of Gwinnett County is named.
