SOPRASEAL STICK FLASHPRO AB is a 35 mil thick air and vapor barrier flashing membrane, made with a UV exposable aluminum foil facer and a wide temperature range butyl adhesive. It is packaged with a LDPE split-release liner that is easy to use and moisture resistant. SOPRASEAL STICK FLASHPRO AB is an easily-conformable and durable flashing tape used as an air barrier, a vapor barrier, and a water resistive barrier for new construction and restoration in rough opens, such as window and door flashings, as well as other detail areas, to prevent water and air penetration.

Installation

Substrates should be clean, sound, dry and free of loose materials, grease, and any contaminants that may compromise the adhesive performance of the product. Primer is typically not required on most surfaces however, if needed, ELASTOCOL STICK primers may be used, and individual project field adhesion testing may be desirable. Align membrane and remove plastic release liner. All membrane overlaps must be a minimum of 2 inches. Once installed, apply pressure over the entire surface with a weighted hand roller to ensure intimate contact of adhesive in all laps and with the substrate.
