COLPHENE® 250 FR GR SKU: 01225

COLPHENE 250 FR GR (fire retardant, granules) is a SBS-modified bitumen membrane approved for use in waterproofing assemblies. COLPHENE 250 FR GR is reinforced with a tough, dimensionally stable non-woven polyester mat that is saturated and coated on both sides with a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrenebutadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen.

Installation

Prior to installation, unroll COLPHENE 250 FR GR onto the deck and allow to relax. Place COLPHENE 250 FR GR in desired position and back roll the product. Apply approved cold adhesive following manufacturer specifications. COLPHENE 250 FR GR is then placed into the cold adhesive and rolled with a weighted roller to ensure adhesion.

John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital – Buffalo, New York

SOPREMA’s SOPRASEAL® Xpress G air and vapor barrier was ideal for this project. The exterior grade, inorganic faced gypsum board with an air and vapor barrier factory applied to the exterior surface, is the first and only ABAA evaluated assembly. SOPRASEAL® Xpress G boards are mechanically fastened to the structure using corrosion resistant SOPRASEAL® Xpress G Screws. A 6 inch self-adhered strip of SOPRASEAL® Stick 1100T is then installed over all board joints.
