SOPRALAP™ STICK SKU: 04086

SOPRALAP™ Stick is an SBS-modified bitumen cover strip for use with SOPRASMART® Laminated Board products. SOPRALAP Stick is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen and is reinforced with tough, dimensionally stable composite polyester/glass fiber reinforcement. The topside is surface with fine mineral aggregate and the underside is surfaced with protective polyolefin release film that is removed during application.

Installation

Prior to installation, unroll SOPRALAP Stick onto the roof surface and allow to relax. SOPRASMART boards are butted end to end, with a membrane overlap of 1 inch. Place SOPRALAP Stick in desired position, centered over the board joint, and back roll the product. Remove the protective release film from the underside of the sheet and roll SOPRALAP Stick into place with a weighted roller. Refer to the SOPREMA® SBS Roofing Manual for additional application guidelines.
