SOPRAROCK Cant Strips SKU: RX-900001

SOPRAROCK Cant Strips are mineral wool fiber insulations made from basalt rock and slag. This combination results in a noncombustible product with a melting point of approximately 2150°F (1177°C), which gives it excellent fire resistance properties. They are comprised of mineral wool, which is a water repellent yet vapor permeable material.

Installation

SOPRAROCK Cant Strips are a rigid mineral wool cant, coated with bitumen and lightly sanded surface. They are intended for commercial and industrial roof insulation applications. Cant strips provide 45-degree transition from a horizontal to a vertical surface in modified bitumen or built-up roof membrane systems.
