Installation

DUOTACK SPF ADHESIVE should be applied to approved substrates free of oil, grease and other contaminants.

Fleece-backed PVC Installation: To adhere SENTINEL HFB membranes, DUOTACK SPF ADHESIVE should be applied using a spatter application. Apply the adhesive at approximately 3,000 square ft per kit. The membrane is then rolled and broomed into place prior to curing.

Rigid Insulation and Coverboard Installation: Apply DUOTACK SPF ADHESIVE in a ribbon pattern. Ribbons should be 2.5 to 3.5 in wide and spaced a maximum of 12 in on center (O.C.) Applying ribbons at 12 in O.C. yields approximately 3,500 sq ft per kit. Once the adhesive has adequately cured, place the insulation/coverboard and walk into place. Product open time can vary depending on ambient air and substrate temperatures.
